so my mom and i got on the subject of self worth for a minute today, and it got me thinking. she said that she and one of my teachers put their self worth in doing things and getting things done. she said that probably wasn't the best place to put it. i said that there were probably worse places.
for example, i put my self worth very much on how i do in school. If i get good grades and do well in my classes and my teacher like me, then i'm good with myself. if i get below an A, or feel like i'm not doing well in a class, or that a teacher doesn't like me, i automatically start putting myself down. it's really annoying and stupid.
i dunno. there's just a lot going on that i don't understand. But God is always good. I'll hold on to that even if everything else dies.

Good girl. Your worth is in Your heavenly Father. He loves you, and that's something you can always rely on.
I second that Lalaith! Self-worth is tricky buisness, and really important. How are you supposed to love someone as you love yourself if you don't love yourself?
