"You are of your father the devil, and your will is do do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because the truth is not in him. When he lies he speaks from his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies" John 8:44

So everything Satan ever says is a lie, he invented lies, his very character is lies and murder. And also fear because

"God is love" (1 John 4:8b) and "There is no fear in Love" (1 John 4:18 a)

Since the devil lives absent from God

"The truth is not in him" "I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life" (John 14:6), he must, therefore, be absent from love, so if there is no fear in love, then to be absent from love must be to live in fear. So if the devil lives in fear, then why do we, the children of God, and therefore the children of Love, fear him and his lies? Why do we think him so powerful? Why do we believe what he says, since he is a natural liar?

Lies can seem so loud. But we need not listen to them. They have no power. Children of Love need not heed the father of lies.
